The Black Lion Community Walk is a friendly, moderate-paced 3-hour jaunt designed for curious feet and good conversation. We wander local paths, pause for stories from the area’s past, and keep an eye out for seasonal flora, fauna, and the occasional foraging gem along the way. It’s not a march and not a ramble to nowhere — just a steady, sociable walk with plenty of time to breathe, notice, and connect. We’re an enthusiastic, welcoming bunch who believe walking together makes places (and people) come alive. We meet on the first Monday of every month, rain or shine. Come as you are — boots, curiosity, and a decent sense of humour recommended. Organised by Stoic Pilgrim Adventures CIC
