Black History Month Community Gathering
Join us for a joyful afternoon celebrating Black history, culture, and community at our Black History Month Community Gathering, a family-friendly gathering designed to honor our roots while creating meaningful moments together.
Hosted by Dear Brwn Mama in partnership with Postworthy Creative Agency, this picnic is a space for families to connect, relax, and celebrate Black joy through storytelling, music, food, and kid-friendly activities.
What to Expect
✨ Community storytime and special guest readings by Nurturing Amir
🎨 Kid-friendly craft activities, facepainting, balloon twisting, and giant bubble show (Magical Moments by Olivia)
🎶 Music and games (spades, dominoes, uno)
🍴 Food available for purchase from Corn Lady LA
🤎 A welcoming space to gather, reflect, and celebrate together
Whether you’re bringing little ones, extended family, or friends, this picnic is all about togetherness, culture, and joy in community.
