Join the Health Foundation of South Florida for the Black Health Summit 2026, a powerful half-day gathering dedicated to advancing health equity and improving well-being across South Florida's Black communities. Building on the momentum of previous years, the Summit convenes community leaders, healthcare professionals, policymakers, advocates, and changemakers for a day of learning, inspiration, and collective action.
Featuring keynote speaker Dr. Roger Mitchell, President of the National Medical Association, the Summit will explore critical issues shaping the future of Black health. Dr. Mitchell will set the stage for the day by framing the national context for Black health equity and highlighting three themes that will echo throughout the Summit:
- rebuilding trust in healthcare,
- ensuring accurate and culturally relevant health information reaches our communities,
- and inspiring the next generation of leaders and advocates.
Through keynote remarks and panel discussions, participants will share lessons learned, explore innovative models, and highlight strategies that strengthen communities and improve health outcomes across the region.
