Hair Authours on the Evening:
Zainab Kwaw-Swanzy -A Quick Ting On The Black Girl Afro chronicles the ways in which the styling of Black Women's hair has influenced popular culture and intersected with Black expression. It explores the ways in which Black women's natural hair is often politicised and judged.
Kandace Chimbri - The Story of Afro Hair, 5,000 Years of History, is an author, speaker and educator. She primarily write Black history books for children and young readers. Her book is filled with profiles of inspirational key figures in the Afro hair beauty industry.
Ovi King –A hair care domain expert with a disruptive vision for the future of hair care using technology. He specialises in curly and afro textured hair care and is Author of the recent best seller Hair Identification modern insights for afro and curly hair which combines unknown discoveries and insights discovered though many years of international research.

About The Tour:
The tour is currently scheduled for several dates a round London and Birmingham. It will feature various black hair authors We are open to additional locations to be added.

1) What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking - There is FREE parking available in surrounding areas on the day of the event from 6.30pm.
Train station - Oxford circus & Tottenham court rd stations a re 5 min walk from the venue
2) Can I bring my kids?
Kids under 10 are not permitted on this occasion as the venue is not suitable for them.
Food & Drink:
Following the champagne reception, Soft drinks drinks and light snacks will be available on the evening.

The venue is fully air conditioned/heated for your comfort
