Black Gold Poetics - A Spoken Word Showcase!
Storytelling and poetry have been a part of communities' rich history, and we value the ancestors who've laid the foundation across the human diaspora. From the griot to today, we respect spaces where expression and creativity collide. We've been fostering communities just like that since 2012, and in 2026 the passion is still here.
Join us for a night of Poetry from some of Phoenix's most talented writers. There will be a rich community of art appreciators and creatives. All we need now is you! This event is open to everyone, and all ages are welcome (however, if you are under 18, we recommend a parent or guardian, as the poetry subject matter may vary).
