Black Girls Hike takes over the Capital Ring! We continue our challenge with section 8 of the trail, a lovely point-to-point green walk from Boston Manor Station (Piccadilly line) to Greenford train station (Central line & Rail). Route is alongside the Grand Union Canal, river Brent, crossing Hanwell lock, Wharncliffe Viaduct, Brent Lodge Park and Perivale Park. Please bring a waterproof jacket in case of rain, a warm layer, wear boots with good ankle support that you would not mind getting dirty - muddy paths. Bring snacks/lunch and water to hydrate. Lunch stop: Brent Lodge Park Café. Toilets: start, middle and end of the route. There will be buses along the route should you prefer a shorter walk (**please plan your own journey and notify hike leader when leaving for safety reasons)Duration: 3 Hours

explore and reconnect with nature.

Can I come to Black Girls Hike?
As the name suggests, this is a safe space for Black/Mixed Race cis and trans women and
non-binary people of Black African and / or Caribbean descent who are comfortable in a
space that centres the experiences of Black women. We are not a BAME, POC, BIPOC,
WOC, Politically Black or Ally organisation.
What do I need to bring?
Walking boots / shoes with ankle support essential. No pumps or sliders.
