Join us for a gentle circular walk through a section of Delamere Forest and to Pale Heights for views acros Cheshire, Wales and Liverpool (on a clear day).
Terrain: here is a gentle progressive upwards walk to this view point. There is then a gentle down hill walk via a section of the Sandstone trail back to our meeting point. The walk is along good pathways with the possibility of a very short muddy section. Good walking boots are recommended.
What to bring: Bring a packed lunch, snacks, and enough water to stay hydrated throughout the walk. We recommend checking the weather forecast in advance and packing suitable clothing or extras such as waterproofs, warm layers, or sun protection.
Lunch stop: Midway through the walk.
Facilities: There a toilets available at points on this walk.
Travel: This is a circular walk. Driving/car sharing recommended and parking is available at the meeting point.
This event will be led by a BGH trained walk leader. Please note that the leader does not hold a Mountain Leader qualification, and participation is therefore at your own discretion and risk.
