LJMU Diversity and Inclusion Team are excited for you to join us for the Black Futures exhibition, featuring a digital catwalk, stylish fashion, captivating music, and photography - all organised as part of beyond Black History Month!
Experience a day dedicated to celebrating the remarkable contributions of Black artists in music, fashion, and dance. Engage in lively discussions, insightful talks, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere filled with creativity.

Student Life Building Accessibility:
- Upon reaching Student Life Building, you may access the social space - UGZ.21 and event venue - UG16 - UG17, by the flight of stairs or by the lifts next to the flight of stairs which will be visible from the building's entrance.
- There will be student advocates working at this event, and they can be identified by their dark purple/navy shirts with the words, 'LJMU' across the front.
- Gender neutral toilets are located on the right side of the building in every floor.
- Accessible toilet is located on the upper ground floor (UG) at approximately 2m from the lift exit. There is step-free access to the accessible toilet.
- Baby feeding room located on the upper ground floor (UG) - Room UG.14.
- Quiet room can be found on the upper ground floor (UG) in the chaplaincy area.
