About this Event
Welcome to the 2025 Black Feminist Health Collaboratory!
Transmuting the boundaries between science and art, the second Black Feminist Health Collaboratory, a two-day interdisciplinary collective laboratory, invites scholars, creatives, practitioners, providers, and activists to think critically and conjointly about what it means to heal within the Black feminist tradition. This year's theme - Black Feminist Healing Arts - offers an opening for makers, thinkers, and healers of all types to theorize the body, psyche, and spirit with toolkits generated in the spaces between disciplines of medical anthropology and sociology, media studies, Black studies, art making and theory, performance/performance studies, literature, and others.
We are so excited to be in community with all who have applied and plan to participate. This registration link is for applicants who applied by the September 15 deadline and have been notified of their acceptance by the Collaboratory committee. Please do not pay for registration through this link if you have not been accepted to participate by the committee. If you would like to participate, please see our website for more information: www.blackfeministcollab.com. Please do not email us about participating if you have not completed the form.
