Black Cat Zine Club – Music Edition 🎶🐈⬛
Join us at Black Cat – Bar, Coffee & Bottle Shop on Smithdown Road for our next Black Cat Zine Club in Liverpool! This time, we’re turning the volume up with our Music Edition.
We’ll be making handmade zines inspired by music culture in all its forms — creating booklets filled with pop-ups, moving parts, fold-outs, lyrics, textures, gig memories, imaginary album campaigns, fan art, club-night chaos, and sonic worlds brought to life on paper.
Think sweaty dancefloors, hyperpop graphics, underground rave flyers, dreamy mixtapes, shoegaze magic, indie nostalgia, futuristic pop stars, pirate radio, synths, headphones, heartbreak songs, euphoric drops, weird little music obsessions, or the feeling of hearing a track that changes your brain chemistry at 1am.
It’s 6–8.30pm on Tuesday 26th May and it is a truly wholesome little community... any meanies or cranks are not welcome.
The event is ticketed because space is limited. If you can chip in a pound or two towards the supplies which I fund out of pocket, I'd be super grateful, but please feel free to choose the free ticket option if this is obstructive. I want everyone to feel welcome.
Expect cutting, sticking, folding, drawing, writing, collaging, and general creative cuteness. If you want to bring any photos, posters, lyrics, playlists or whatever you would like to include in your zine, please do, but everything is provided if you just Come As You Are 😉 No experience needed.
All materials are provided — just bring some cash/card for drinks and snacks from the bar.
