Black Ballad is all about acknowledging and celebrating how hard black women work, but we also feel it’s just as important to ensure that we create opportunities and experiences for black women to live softly. To have moments where you can relax, enjoy good vibes and have moments where you don’t have to think about work or how to level up.

So with that in mind… introducing Black Ballad’s Jewellery Making Workshop with Omolola Jewellery. We are partnering the black owned, Leeds based jewellery brand on not just one, but two jewellery making workshops. One will be held in London and of course, the other will be held in Leeds.

We are so excited and honoured to be teaming up with Omolola, as their jewellery isn’t just stylish but it exquisitely centres the beauty of Africa. The workshop will be taught by Omolola co-founder, Ope. Beyond taking part in the workshop, we want you to come along and be in a space where black women can talk, laugh and learn a new skill together. Also, if you are joining us in Leeds, a hot drink and pastry of your choice will be included in your ticket.
