Learning the skills to make a Black & White image allows photographers to create some of the most stunning and imaginative images in their portfolios. While masters like Ansel Adams perfected their work in the dark room, the digital photographer’s success comes from learning how to use software tools to achieve powerful visual results.
Part 1: Learn the basics of B&W digital photography, how to see the possibilities in a color image to convert to B&W, plus an introduction to Silver Efex Pro* (30-day free trial).
Part 2: We'll delve into Silver Efex Pro, including the recommended workflow from a Raw file.
Part 3: Real-Time Practice: We’ll work together to process Color into B&W images, with plenty of opportunity for questions.
