🔥 WHY THIS FEST MATTERS:
Black and Brown Punk Fest was created to build a visible, sustainable space for punks and alternative folks of color who are too often sidelined by white centered, hyper masculine scenes. This is about reclaiming our histories, celebrating our contributions, and strengthening creative communities of resistance.
✊🏽 ACCESSIBILITY AND SAFER SPACE:
Xingonas in the Pit is a feminist punk collective committed to creating safe spaces for music and art.
🗣️ A Safer Space Policy will be enforced – no racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, fatphobic, classist, xenophobic, or otherwise oppressive behavior or language will be tolerated.
😷 The event is majority outdoors for better airflow to help mitigate COVID and other airborne illnesses. Masks are strongly encouraged indoors and will be available from the Covid Conscious Bloc of San Antonio and air purifiers will be provided by Clean the Air ATX & NALAC 🔁.
