The Black & Brown Connect Mixer has become one of the most anticipated gatherings in Southwest Michigan because of the quality of the people in it. Professionals and community leaders from healthcare, education, business, public service, and everything in between. People doing real work. People who want to know each other.
On Thursday, June 11 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., we're at the Read Fieldhouse on the campus of Western Michigan University for an evening built around one simple idea: we're all stronger when we know who's leading this community and how we can support each other's work.
This time, we've curated a small group of local leaders who will share a little Q&A interview time where we’ll learn a bit about who they are, what they're working on, how our community can support their leadership, and what’s next for Greater Kalamazoo. More conversation, less presentation. Each one will be just a few minutes so we’ll get into it, then keep it moving.
If you’ve been around for previous conversations at the B&B Connect, you know we’ve featured public school superintendents, healthcare executives, elected officials, and business leaders across the spectrum of industry. Not because of their titles, but because of the work they're doing and what becomes possible when we all know about it.
Food. Drinks. DJ Chuck. All in the mix. And that signature warm vibe that only B&B brings.
This is the space for professionals and leaders, built by and for us. Come be in it.
