Join the Black Alumni Council on Friday, November 1st at the Richard T. Greener Scholarship Breakfast to kick-off our 2024 Homecoming Weekend. We are pleased to announce that Robert Dozier Jr. will serve as our keynote speaker as we celebrate over four decades of the scholarship endowment. You will not want to miss this breakfast, so secure your tickets today!
The Black Alumni Council is celebrating over 40 years of encouraging and enriching the lives of students by providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors. This scholarship honors Richard Theodore Greener who was the first African American faculty member at USC in 1873.
Breakfast and networking will begin at 8:30 a.m.
More on our Keynote: Robert W. Dozier, Jr.
Robert W. Dozier, Jr. is the Chief Executive Officer of RWD Consulting, LLC (RWD). He possesses more than 35 years of experience in working with federal, state, and local government, including commerical entities. For over 20 years Robert has been a hands-on leader, guiding the overall development and direction of RWD while creating exceptional value for his clients. He defines his company's character as "competent, competitive, customer-oriented, and compassionate." Robert Dozier promotes corporate responsibility and community investment by supporting local, national, and international efforts to include numerous scholarship programs and internship opportunities.
Robert W. Dozier, Jr. holds a bachelor's degree in political science, with a minor in Economics from the University of South Carolina. He is also a graduate from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Emerging Leaders (MBA) program. In 2017, Mr. Dozier was named by the SBA and Washington Metropolitan Area District Office as Small Businessperson of the Year. It is Robert's objective for RWD to combine passion, corporate experience, and excellence to deliver solutions that not only enhance his clientele's mission, but also enrich public service in the community.
In 2004, Mr. Dozier established RWD Consulting, an 8(a) certified business, that provides a variety of professional service solutions to federal, state, and local government clients, such as the CDC, NASA, EPA, DOS, DOD, DHA, CPSC, EEOC, GSA, USDA, DHS, and DGS. RWD achieves mission-critical results for the public and private sectors through core its competencies (i.e. Information Technology (IT), Logistics, Conference Support & Supply Chain Management, Facility Operations and Management, Professional, and Technical Support.
