Beach Keepers Summer Cleanup at Mustang Island State Parks North Entrance in coordination with World Ocean's Day.The beach adjacent to the North Fish Pass Jetty is in dire need of cleanup.
This beach is isolated from the rest of the state park, not maintained as often as the other state park beaches, and the North is a magnet for debris.
Beach Keepers will supply
*Gloves
*Water
*Snacks
*Lunch
Please come help restore natural treasures. Your help would be greatly appreciated and make a huge difference!
GETTING THERE
**The access road leading to the North Jetty is not regularly grated and getting there by car can be difficult at times.
Beach Keepers will be offering transport for volunteers from Access Road 2.
**Volunteers may park inside the State Park fee area by the South Jetty and walk over to the North Jetty.
