Join Brooklyn Scouts Pack 7, Troop 1G and Troop 26 for a fun night out with a Cyclones game! The Cyclones are playing Bowling Green at 7 PM in Coney Island. After the game, there'll be fireworks to enjoy. Then comes the best part! Everyone will exit the stadium, and scouts and their families/friends will go back into the stadium for a sleepover on the outfield! Bring tents, sleeping bags, coolers, balls and games. Watch a movie on the big screen. Hang out with friends all night long. Everyone will also get a commemorative 2022 Boy Scout Night patch and Brooklyn Cyclones hat. What fun!

COST: $15 pp Early Bird until Mon . Feb 28th, $20 pp afterwards. Cost includes admission and Cyclones hat. Every person who's going, must get a ticket. Please note that after April 1st, you are not guaranteed a patch, tee or even a seat with our group. Let us know if you need to borrow a tent, and our scout units will help.

How will the sleepover work? After the game, you’ll leave the stadium, return to your car to retrieve your gear, and then re-enter the stadium for the sleepover. You can bring food for the sleepover, just no glass or alcohol. Everyone will set up their tents in the outfield. There may be a movie played on the big screen. Kids will bring balls and run all night.

SCHEDULE

• 6 PM, Fri 4/29 ~ Doors open at Maimonides Park.
• 7 PM, Fri 4/29 ~ Game starts
• 9 AM, Sat 4/30 ~ Leave the stadium to return to Brooklyn

THINGS TO BRING

• Cash for dinner during the Cyclones game (you are not allowed to bring outside food to the game).
• Sleepover: tent, sleeping bag, snacks, ball(s), cards. Highly recommend ear plugs and eye shades for adults.

FAQs

• Front gates open at 6pm.
• Games usually go 2.5 – 3 hours.
• Parking. There is a parking lot adjacent to the stadium on city line ran by a separate company. They usually charge $8 per car for Cyclones games. The Cyclones urge everyone to drive to the game. That way you can leave your camping gear in your car during the game. After the game you’ll leave the stadium, return to your car to retrieve your gear, and then re-enter the stadium for the sleepover.
• Food during the game. Food is not included in the ticket price. Concession stands within the stadium will be open during the course of the game. That’s when most people consume dinner. Outside food or beverage in the stadium during the game.
• Food during the sleepover. Outside food or beverage is permitted in the stadium for the sleepover portion. No glass or alcohol. You can bring a cooler with drinks, sandwiches, and snacks. You can even bring a small kids wagon to transport the cooler (but remember, it's a long set of stairs to get down to the field)
• Fireworks. Yes! Can't wait for the fireworks after the game.
• Movie. Yes, there'll be a movie on the big screen.
• Morning after the sleepover. There is no breakfast in the morning. Most campers are up by 7-730am to just get home so they don’t waste the whole day here. Some people leave as early as 6 am but most people get up by 8-830 am and are out the door by 9 am.
