SBG athletes, join us on Sunday, January 24th, as we celebrate several of your teammates earning their next belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! When SBG athletes get a belt promotion, we hold an Ironman in their honor. During an Ironman, the new belt recipients will do a live roll (to the submission) with all of their teammates in attendance.The following SBG Buford students will be receiving promotions on January 24th:
Thandi 'T' Turner: Black
Mike Greene: Brown
Joey Moran: Purple
We normally start Iron Man's at 10am, but because our Irish SBG teammate (Conor McGreggor) has a big fight the night before, we are going to push back the start time to 11am so that you can all enjoy a little extra sleep before the festivities.
All SBG Buford athletes that have graduated from our Foundations BJJ program are welcome and encouraged to attend. If you are currently in our Foundations program or are a friend/family member that wants to show your support, you are more than welcome to join us and watch along.
