Explore the possibilities of monoprinting with nature in this three-hour bite-sized workshop.
You will learn the fundamentals of monoprinting, experiment with colour and texture, and leave with a small collection of botanical monoprints.
This workshop is suitable for total beginners who are interested in printmaking, or experienced artists looking for an inspiring afternoon. There is no preparation required, other than if you’d like to bring in some clippings to work with.
What is a monoprint?
A monoprint is a one-off impression, a unique artwork made through printmaking. Monoprints often explore one type of image but each print differs slightly to each other, so they are not part of a traditional edition.
