About this Event
We celebrate Black achievement in sport and change the narrative.
We amplify diverse voices and conversations in the sports community.
We provide access to networks and opportunities for young people in sport.
Inspired by the racist backlash following the EURO 2020 Final when Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka, and Jadon Sancho missed their penalties despite a stellar EURO 2020 campaign, and recognising the vital role of businesses and professionals behind the scenes in sports, we set out to celebrate Black achievement in sport and change the narrative, highlighting the good instead of the bad.
By amplifying and leveraging the stories of diverse professionals in sport, our platform which is open to all backgrounds, is home to some important and interesting conversations, with spotlights on people who dare to make a name for themselves in sport.
Our community gives young people easier access to networks and opportunities to kickstart or boost their careers in sport and beyond, whilst also highlighting support systems in the sports industry that can guide you.
From networking events and workshops with partner organisations to engaging content and conversations across our channels, we cover all things Black In Sport.
