Hi Everyone!
I’m turning 49, and there is truly no better way I can imagine celebrating than gathering together at one of my absolute favorite places — Pass-a-Grille Beach.
This birthday is all about connection, creativity, heart, laughter, music, and celebrating another year of life under the open sky. I would LOVE for you to join me.
We’ll be set up just to the left of the 16th Street entrance (bathrooms are conveniently located near the entrance by the park). I’ll arrive around 4:00 PM — and if you’d like to come early and help set up, I would super appreciate it! I will be out on the beach until late. (Probably 9pm or later.) Feel free to come anytime throughout the evening to join us.

I LOVE music, writing, and creative expression. I can’t wait to see what creativity and open-hearted expression you bring! I will be bringing my mic, stand, and PA system. Let's share our love of music and hearts under the big blue sky!

If you’d like background music for a song, please let me know a few days before the gathering and I will bring it. I will be playing and singing a few of my favorites songs as well.
This is about heart expression — no pressure, just love.

🥁 SUNSET DRUMMING & SACRED WATER RITUAL
Let's celebrate the sunset with some drumming or anything else you woudl like to bring!
At sunset (Approx: 7:39 PM), I’ll be going out in the water to do a shamanistic/Native American spiritual ritual called “Taking the Waters” to set the intention for my next birth year.
For the past few years, my friends have lovingly “drummed in my birthday” from the shoreline as I do the above spiritual ritual. If you feel called to be part of this moment, please bring:
• A drum
• A rattle
• A shaker
• Your voice
• Any joyful noisemaker
You’re are also welcome to join me out in the water if you’d like to do the spiritual ritual with me.
It’s always a powerful, sacred, and deeply meaningful moment for me. The spiritual ritual is all about releasing anything that holds us back and setting powerful intention energy for the upcoming year!
I would love to drum/celebrate the sunset as well! Please bring anything you would like to participate in that!
Feel free to bring friends — the more heart energy, the better.
