Welcome to our much loved, 'Birth Ready Yoga' Program.
Attend as a Six Saturday, Six Week Program for the affordable donation of $1`30 (or, casual $30 per class).
The program has been designed by some of Newcastle's finest prenatal yoga teachers, birth doulas and birth educators! (Natalie Meade, Clancy Allen and Elizabeth Wolf).
Most recently taught by Sophie and then Marion, in Marions holiday period, we are delighted to have the pregnant and wonderfully experienced, Britannia Stellinga running this one for us.
What will be covered? What will be covered?
Session One: Breath. The class includes a number of tips, tricks, demos and exercises to make sure you are REALLY ready to breath through birth.(Oct 19)
Session Two: Move. The class includes specific birth positions, birth tips, tricks demos and exercises to make sure you are REALLY ready to move through your birth.(Oct 26)
Session Three: A very special! Belly Dance for Birth (this session is with special guest educator, Natalie Meade. As an 'Embody Birth International' Educator, a program created by Maha Al Musa, Dance for Birth., Natalie will introduce some very unique and special aspects of birth education and movement technique, to follow on from Session Two)(Nov 2)
Session Four: Sound. The class includes specific exercises to see how sounding, not sounding and expressing/surrendering can enhance your confidence and enjoyment of birth.(Nov 9)
Session Five: Relaxation, Surrender and Progressive Muscle Relaxation (Nov 16)
Session Six: A complete revision of allthe key concepts of all the previous sessions. (Nov 23)
Each session contains a great amount of useful content and useful wisdom for birth.
Each session is designed to meet your needs for mental relaxation and for tuning into your body wisdom and baby.
Sessions do also cover your physical, mental and emotional essentials for birth.
This is a Newcastle Birth Movement Event and the donation that enables us to cover costs is $130 for the entire six session program. We hope you enjoy this price as we strive in our mission to bring excellent, highest quality, Birth Preparation to mums at affordable prices. Feel free to donate more if your family can afford more and wnats to support our fundraising efforts, but please, no obligation, we are always happy to just cover costs.
We prefer enrollments to be the whole program, but if you can't be available to attend then, yes, casual visits can be arranged and are recommended at $30
And, message us if you are struggling with living expenses and wish to discuss a 'lower than cost' donation amount.
