This event has been organised to celebrate National Lottery Open Week.

The restoration of Birnbeck Pier has been made possible thanks to substantial funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, as well as other funders and supporters.
During National Lottery Open Week (Saturday 7 to Sunday 15 March), National Lottery funded venues across the country will give thanks to lottery players for the £32m raised for Good Causes every week by offering free entry, discounts and special offers. About the contractors
Mackley has been appointed by North Somerset Council to restore the structure of Birnbeck Pier. Mackley is a specialist civil engineering contractor with extensive experience and expertise of working in a marine environment and with heritage structures.
Smith & Brenson has been appointed by North Somerset Council to deliver the phase of work on the landside. Smith & Brenson is a conservation contractor with specialist experience in heritage restoration, coastal structures, and complex refurbishment projects.
