About this Event

You are invited to our Disability History Month event themed around Livelihood and Employment. Come along and talk to our partnered organisations, including the Department for Work and Pensions and West Midlands Combined Authority.

Prefer a less direct approach? There will also be multiple presentations delivered across the event on subjects including recruitment, reasonable adjustments, the equality act and tips for navigating disability. There will be BSL Interpreters for all presentations delivered.

There will be volunteers on the day to guide you to the meeting room, supply refreshments and answer any questions you may have. If you have any reasonable adjustments that you wish to declare prior to the event, please email [email protected].

You are invited to shared your lived experiences, which will be proudly shared at the event on one of our stalls: Birmingham Disability History Month: Lived Experience Submission – Fill in form

An agenda will be shared shortly. In the meantime, we kindly ask that you register your attendance using this Eventbrite link to secure your place!
