The Birmingham Botanical Gardens are an oasis of delightful gardens, peace, and tranquillity, just one mile from the City Centre.Opened in 1832, these historic Gardens are an educational charity, offering a fascinating day out for all the family to enjoy.
We have four stunning glasshouses filled with exotic plants that take you from tropical rainforest to arid desert.
Beyond fifteen acres of beautiful, landscaped gardens offer sunny lawns and collections of roses , alpines, perennials, rare trees and shrubs, ideal for picnics and exploring every day of the year.
We are also have The National Bonsai Collection and Japanese Garden. The Gardens look beautiful in October with all the Autumn colours, especially the tree in the playground which goes a beautiful shade of red in Autumn.
