Birgitt Fischer w swoich malarskich manifestach przedstawia współczesny świat manipulacji i populizmu. Maluje zdeformowane portrety demagogów. Rozbija ich wizerunek i „fasadę” na części, aby pokazać sztuczność i agresję. Kontrastuje ich wizerunki z „bohaterami” poszukującymi własnej tożsamości, którzy jednak nie mają wpływu na rzeczywistość. Jej zdaniem każde pokolenie pragnie własnych emocjonalnych doświadczeń. Dla niej samej ucieczką i lekarstwem staje się malowanie.Birgitt Fischer (ur. 1972) artystka urodzona w Offenburgu w Niemczech. Mieszka i pracuje w Pradze. Zajmuje się malarstwem. Studiowała na Akademie výtvarných umění (Akademii Sztuk Pięknych) w Pradze, w pracowni prof. Milana Knížáka. Kluczową cechą jej sztuki jest odwaga – obecna zarówno w życiowych decyzjach, jak i w jej malarskiej konfrontacji z rzeczywistością. Brała udział w wielu wystawach in dywidualnych i zbiorowych, przede wszystkim w Czechach i Niemczech.

Birgitt Fischer, in her painterly manifestos, portrays the contemporary world of manipulation and populism. She paints distorted portraits of demagogues, breaking apart their image and “facade” into fragments in order to reveal their artificiality and aggression. She contrasts these figures with “heroes” who search for their own identity but ultimately have no influence over reality. According to her, every generation longs for its own emotional experiences. For Fischer herself, painting becomes both an escape and a remedy.
Birgitt Fischer (b. 1972) is an artist born in Offenburg, Germany. She lives and works in Prague and is primarily engaged in painting. She studied at the Akademie výtvarných umění (Academy of Fine Arts) in Prague in the studio of Prof. Milan Knížák. A defining feature of her art is courage—present both in her life choices and in her painterly confrontation with reality. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, primarily in the Czech Republic and Germany.
