This Easter Sunday, join local expert Gerald Rayner for a fantastic guided walk.Hamford Water is the setting for one of Arthur Ransome's sequels to Swallows & Amazons: "Secret Water". It is an important site for many wading birds - the muddy salt marsh being full of invertebrates on which they feed. Many of the winter visitors will still be present along with a variety of waterfowl.
Views may be distant so binoculars are a must, but your guide will have a telescope, giving the best views possible.
This walk follows the sea wall, the surface of which is very uneven and may be clogged with vegetation. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for the walk. The duration and actual route taken will be dependent on the condition of the paths.
£7 Per Adult £2 Per Child
