Spot some of the over 200 species of birds identified at Lake Corpus Christi State Park!Are you a new birder and want to get out there to learn how to bird and ID? Are you an experienced bird watcher that just wants to go out with some fellow birders? This is perfect for you! All experience levels are welcome to this program.
Meet: At the CCC Refectory.
Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, water, and binoculars. Other birding equipment like cameras are welcome, but not required. If you are a new birder and don't have binoculars yet, just email us and we can have a pair set aside for you.
Distance: We may walk or we may do stationary birding. Which one we do depends on the group's preference. If you would like to reserve our all-terrain wheelchair for this program, please email us.
Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is $5 for everyone 13 years and older, free for 12 and under.
Note:
All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
If no visitors arrive to the program by 15 minutes after the start time, the program is considered canceled.
Bird calls, whistles, and playback will not be permitted.
