About this Event
Spring Migration is under way across the region and Rouge Park is no exception. The number and variety of birds making their way through the area in May will skyrocket. Winter is surely over and the sounds, colors and smells return full force!
Come witness this magnificient season at Rouge Park!
On May 30th we will be hosting a birding event at the prairie in collaboration with Detroit Bird Alliance to bird together in community but we encourage you to bird throughtout the month at Rouge Park and RECORD WHAT YOU SEE!
Write down what species you saw, location and time to submit to the free eBird app. At the end of the month, Detroit Bird Alliance will tally the submissions and reveal which Detroit park had the most variety of birds.
All experience levels are welcome!
