This hike will start from the Metcalf Entrance to Máyyan 'Ooyákma. We'll explore the top of the ridge for Lark Sparrow, Grasshopper Sparrow, Rufous-crowned Sparrow, Horned Lark, Rock Wren, Golden Eagle, and other residents and explore the unique serpentine grassland.

Please note that there is NO RESTROOM at this location. The closest restroom will be located at the main Metcalf Motorcycle Park entrance at 300 Metcalf Rd. You will be passing it on the way to the overflow lot parking where the birding program will meet.

Difficulty: ~ 3 mile walk along the ridge with some elevations gain. Trail surface is uneven. Bring binoculars, sunscreen and water and enjoy this unique Bay Area gem.
