The Coquille Valley Wildlife Area spans approximately 5,400 acres of wetlands, grasslands, and riparian habitats, making it one of Oregon’s most important ecological preserves for waterfowl and raptors alike. The two-mile hike is on level terrain, but sturdy shoes are recommended. Meet at the Charleston Visitor at 9:30 am for a van shuttle or meet us on location at 10 am. Google Maps can provide directions. Pre-registration is required.
