About this Event
Join POST and Santa Clara Valley Bird Alliance for a birding tour at the Bair Island Unit of the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge! SCVBA expert facilitators and POST staff will guide you, sharing the history of this beautiful protected space and information about the birds that frequent this important estuary habitat.

This easy one-mile walk with little to no elevation gain will highlight the wetlands and the wildlife that live within them, such as the Endangered Ridgeway rails, peregrine falcons, pelicans, egrets, terns, and stilts.
Bring your binoculars to see the beautiful birds at Bair Island. If you don't have your own, we have binoculars you can borrow.
