A lot of kids grow up without consistent male role models in their lives. Sometimes the most meaningful thing a man can do is simply show up.On Friday, May 29 at 6pm, our Super Moms group is hosting a birdhouse building night for kids of single moms, and we’re looking for men from Compass who would be willing to volunteer, help build alongside the kids, encourage them, and be a positive presence for the evening.
You don’t need to be a carpenter. You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to be willing to spend a couple hours building something with a kid who could benefit from connection, encouragement, and attention.
For some of these kids, a simple night like this can leave a bigger impact than you realize.
