A special bird walk where the Virginia Working Landscape (VWL) has been studying grassland birds for more than 10 years.About this Event
Join us for the 3rd Annual bird walk around the nearly 30 acres of fields that have been set aside for grassland birds. The owners of Lazy Dog Farm are graciously hosting bird nerds like us to watch and to study birds.
Our friends from the Smithsonian’s National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute have been studying grassland birds through the Virginia Working Landscape (VWL) initiative throughout the region and they're inviting us to join them! Our flock will led by VWL Biodiversity Technicians, Nick Garnhardt and Bernadette Rigley.
