About this Event
Join DC Bird Alliance for a bird walk through Dumbarton Oaks Park, a hidden gem in the heart of Georgetown known for its winding trails, wooded slopes, and rich bird habitat.
This landscape offers a more rugged, natural birding experience, with opportunities to observe a variety of species in a quiet, tucked-away setting. As we move through the park, we’ll take a slow, observational approach, pausing often to listen, look, and share what we notice together.
This walk is best suited for those comfortable navigating uneven terrain and elevation changes, and is ideal for birders looking to explore one of DC’s more wild-feeling spaces.
