About this Event
Blue Ridge birds have been part of this landscape long before we arrived, and they'll be here long after. In this hands-on mosaic workshop, you'll create your own Appalachian bird using broken porcelain plates, glass pieces, and seed beads on a pre-cut wooden base.
No mosaic experience needed — we'll guide you through every step, from selecting your color palette to the final grout application. Each bird has a pre-drilled hanging hole so you can take your completed piece home that night and add ribbon later.
This workshop takes place at Mountain Haze Beer Garden in Polk County, NC. Beverages (beer, wine, non-alcoholic) available for purchase throughout the evening. Sip while you mosaic.
