About this Event
Uzazi Village is thrilled to partner again with for a special experience celebrating BIPOC mothers and birthing people this Mother’s Day.
This official BIPOC Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Photoshoot is designed to honor the beauty, strength, and resilience of birthing bodies while capturing powerful, affirming images for families to treasure. We are intentionally creating space for communities that have been underrepresented in maternal health imagery to be seen with dignity, joy, and authenticity.
The portraits from this session will:
- Expand our visual storytelling so families see themselves reflected with dignity, joy, and authenticity
- Support Uzazi Village’s advocacy, education, and community outreach in maternal health
- Celebrate the love, connection, and strength of motherhood
What to Expect
- Free professional photography by Jayd Tandy Photography at Studio 1107
- Opportunities for moms to include partners, children, or family
- A safe, nurturing space to celebrate your journey through pregnancy and motherhood
Spaces are limited. Reserve your spot today and join us in honoring maternal wellness and reclaiming our narratives through imagery, community, and care.
