The second-ever BIPOC-only Perinatal Mental Health (PMH) training, co-hosted by Postpartum Support International - Arizona and Arizona Birthworkers of Color, is a pioneering training presented by persons of color for persons of color to enhance skills and knowledge in order to meet the needs of BIPOC families.

COMPONENTS OF CARE TRAINING 2-DAY (April 24-25)

A comprehensive, two-day (14.5 CE credit), evidence-based curriculum designed for anyone working with the perinatal population to gain knowledge and skills to effectively support people experiencing perinatal mood disorders.
This course provides CE credits and serves as Step 1 for obtaining the PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certification) and and a PSI Certificate of Completion.
ADVANCED PSYCHOTHERAPY TRAINING 1-DAY (April 26)

A one-day (6 CE credits), intensive course providing advanced skills in perinatal mental health psychotherapy designed for behavioral / mental health providers who have completed at least 14 hours of perinatal mental health training.
This advanced training covers differential diagnosis, evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches, and advanced therapeutic issues. Completion of this course provides CE credits and serves as Step 2 for obtaining the PMH-C (Perinatal Mental Health Certification).
