About this Event
The BIPOC Artivism Collective is a weekly arts incubator for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color exploring art as activism through a decolonial education lens.
This gathering supports artists, culture workers, and community members who are interested in examining how creative practice can challenge dominant narratives, engage histories of resistance, and imagine liberated futures. Sessions center dialogue, reflection, and shared learning alongside space to develop and discuss creative work.
Participants are invited to bring works-in-progress, ideas, questions, or simply curiosity. Practices may include visual art, writing, performance, sound, research, and interdisciplinary approaches. The emphasis is on process, critical inquiry, and collective growth rather than polish or production.
This is a community-centered space rooted in care, accountability, and shared responsibility. No prior experience is required.
