BioSpiritual Focusing at Mariandale...Join us at Mariandale on Saturday, May 9, for a brand new, daylong workshop on BioSpiritual Focusing, a gentle contemplative process integrating body, mind, and spirit.
It is based on a method of psychotherapy developed by Eugene Gendlin, Ph.D., which Jesuit psychologists Peter Campbell and Edwin Mc Mahon expanded from a body/mind practice to a body/mind/spirit practice.
The practice consists of dropping down into our inner experience, simply noticing the emotions and sensations we feel in our body, allowing them to unfold and holding whatever comes with love and care. In this loving, compassionate presence to ourselves our spirit opens to Spirit, God's Presence to us and with us in the center of our being.
Biospiritual focusing leads to a knowing felt deep within that, indeed, "it is in God that we live, and move, and have our very being." (Acts 17:27)
This event includes a luncheon at 12pm. Come join us for the day!
