The Washington Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and the Upper Columbia Salmon Recovery Board are partnering to host a casual “Bios on Tap” evening focused on Upper Columbia Steelhead and Spring Chinook at Watercore Cider on March 19 at 6:00 p.m.The interactive event will feature Ryan Niemeyer of UCSRB will be providing an overview of the current status of these ESA-listed fish and key recovery efforts in the region, followed by a Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife biologist who will share insights on regional angling regulations and opportunities along with additional ecological and biological context.
Attendees are invited to enjoy cider, conversation, and an engaging discussion about the science, management, and future of these iconic fish in a relaxed community setting.
