BEES Day 2025 – for Years 9, 10 and 11Date: Friday 5th September 2025

The Biology, Earth and Environmental Sciences Day (BEES Day) is an annual event that showcases some of the exciting career choices and opportunities in the sciences. It is designed to increase students’ awareness about real science jobs and encourage them to consider science pathways when selecting subjects in their secondary schooling.
Presenters from a wide range of industries will share experiences from their work and engage students in hands-on activities. For our 2025 event we are pleased to offer activities and presentations from Department of Fisheries, Curtin University Earth Sciences & Sustainable Futures, South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare (SERCUL), Perth Zoo, SciTech, Edith Cowan University, University of Notre Dame, Murdoch University and more.
Representatives from Perth Universities will be available during the lunch break to answer questions and provide materials about opportunities to study science at a tertiary level.
