Webinar Description
This webinar will review male and female pelvic anatomy and physiology, common pelvic floor disorders, and the use of pelvic floor biofeedback and e-stim therapy in the treatment of pelvic floor disorders. Equipment demonstration will be reviewed, and case studies will be presented.
Behavioral Objectives
At the end of this workshop, the participant will be able to:
- Understand the anatomy and physiology of the male and female pelvic floor
- Define common pelvic floor disorders
- Master the indications for pelvic floor biofeedback and e-stim therapy as a treatment adjunct for male and female pelvic floor disorders
- Describe and interpret pelvic floor biofeedback modalities
- Have knowledge of treatment protocols and patient progression throughout therapy
Intended Audience
Physicians, Advanced Practice Nurses, Physicians Assistants, RN, LPN, Nurses, Researchers, and Medical Technicians.
Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists.
Course Credit
