Mark your calendars for this month's volunteer power hour from 10 AM to 1 PM and come be part of something special.Visit the wetland, meadow, forest, hedgerows, and riparian areas all stewarded by volunteers. Family friendly!
- Co-learn about restoration techniques for invasive plant removal.
- See how biodiversity can benefit farmers and food producers.

Lunch is on us! At about 12 pm, we will be serving lunch for all volunteers—so come hungry and ready for a nutritious meal with great company.
Event Details:Time: 10 AM to 1 PMLunch: 12 PM – Provided for volunteers, bring a snack to share if you like!
Location: Haliburton Farm - Urban Biodiversity Project, 741 Haliburton Road. Parking is available along the farm lane (parallel along the fence right or left sides) as well as accessible parking just past the gate on the woodchip areas.
Meet us beside the farmstand for intros.
What to Bring: We have work gloves and tools, so you just need water, sun protection, sturdy shoes, long sleeves, and pants, (for blackberry removal)
Weather Considerations: Will happen rain or shine!

Accessibility Information: Uneven farm path terrain, many picnic benches in the shade, and there is a single stall locking individual washroom available
Safety and Orientation: There will be a quick welcome briefing at the start of the event.Looking forward to seeing many of you soon! We encourage folks to share their preferred pronouns and name.
