Come and learn about biochar, a carbon rich soil enhancer, in a one-day workshop with NZ expert Phil Stevens. Two ways of creating biochar will be demonstrated (and you’ll get a sample to take away).When: Saturday 18 April, 9am-4pm
Where: Norfolk Road. Parking at 796 Norfolk Road
Who: Anyone in our community is invited to come along and take part in a one-day workshop on biochar. Booking is essential and there is a $20 cost per person to contribute to costs. Limited to 30 attendees.
Additional information: BYO lunch (tea/coffee provided), and wear appropriate clothing. Natural fibre clothing is by far the safest around fires. Suitable footwear is also recommended.
If you want to help feed the kiln please bring suitable gloves.
