BINGO BLOODY BINGO - Shrewsbury

SHREWSBURY. WE ARE BACK.

It’s been a while since I’ve put one of these on locally, so we’re doing it properly.
No sitting quietly at tables. No awkward pub quiz energy. No boring numbers.

Just absolute tunes, questionable decisions and organised chaos on a Saturday afternoon.

Bingo Bloody Bingo returns to The Crown, Abbey Foregate on Saturday 20th June, 3pm–6pm.
And honestly… if you came to the old events, you already know how messy this can get.

WHAT IS IT?
Music bingo.
You get a bingo card filled with songs instead of numbers.
The tunes get played on shuffle across all genres and you tick them off as they come on.

From heavy metal to hip hop.
Britpop to Britney.
Motown to breakdowns.
Guilty pleasures to absolute filth.

If you don’t recognise the song straight away, don’t panic, the host reveals it after 30 seconds anyway, so everyone’s involved.

Stand up. Cause a scene.
Win prizes.

And not rubbish “here’s a pen” type prizes either.
There’ll be genuinely decent stuff, free booze, weird items, funny artefacts and a few things people will probably end up fighting over after a few pints.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Big tunes from every era and genre imaginable
• Proper pub atmosphere
• Good prizes and free booze giveaways
• Stupid/hilarious rewards for winners
• Mild chaos escalating throughout the afternoon
• A host who spent years on the London comedy circuit and has compered hundreds of shows
• Singalongs, shouting and people losing their dignity before sunset
• The bingo finishes at 6pm… but the bar definitely doesn’t

Most importantly:
Good people. Good atmosphere. No dickheads.

This is a daytime session for people who actually want to have fun again.
If you miss old school alternative club nights, pub culture before everything got boring, or just want an excuse to day drink with your mates while screaming along to bangers, this is for you.

It’s already getting attention because loads of people have been asking when I’m doing another Shrewsbury event, so don’t hang about on tickets.
