Walk at Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge - Adams County Walks Event (Bilingual)
Come join us for a fun and educational walk led by a knowledgeable National Wildlife Refuge volunteer! This event will be guided in both Spanish and English. Explore the beauty of the refuge while gaining insights about bees, butterflies, birds, and more during National Pollinator Week.
We will meet at the southern kiosk for Lake Ladora, and plan to depart 5 minutes after the start time. The Google Maps coordinates can be found here. The parking lot is just north of 64th Ave - drive into the Refuge, follow 64th Ave straight all the way past the 4-way stop on Havana St, and it will be the first parking lot on your left.
The walk route will follow the Lake Mary Loop and a little around Lake Ladora. This walk is accessible for all ages, abilities, and fitness levels - participants will be on a path with minimal elevation gain and slightly shaded.

¡Acompáñenos en una caminata divertida y educativa, guiada por un voluntario experto del Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre! Este evento se llevará a cabo con guías tanto en español como en inglés. Explore la belleza del refugio mientras aprende datos interesantes sobre las abejas, las mariposas, las aves y mucho más, en el marco de la Semana Nacional de los Polinizadores.
Nos reuniremos en el quiosco sur del lago Ladora y tenemos previsto partir 5 minutos después de la hora de inicio. Puede encontrar las coordenadas de Google Maps aquí. El estacionamiento se encuentra justo al norte de la 64th Ave; para llegar, conduzca hacia el interior del Refugio, siga derecho por la 64th Ave hasta pasar el cruce de cuatro vías en la calle Havana, y verá el estacionamiento a su izquierda (será el primero que encuentre).
La ruta de la caminata seguirá el circuito del lago Mary y bordeará un tramo del lago Ladora. Esta caminata es accesible para personas de todas las edades, capacidades y niveles de condición física, ya que los participantes recorrerán un sendero con un desnivel mínimo y con algo de sombra.
