Bikes in the Zoo is rolling back onto the Kalamazoo Mall in 2026, and this year, it’s happening alongside the deliciously fun Mac N Cheese Mayhem! It’s shaping up to be a vibrant day downtown, filled with bikes, food, music, and community. Whether you’re a cycling enthusiast or just looking for something fun to do, there’s something for everyone.
Live Music is presented by Sounds of the Zoo in collaboration with Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo featuring the Blue Skies Busking Program. Enjoy performances by local artists throughout the day at the various busking stations in downtown Kalamazoo.
Bikes in the Zoo is a completely free and welcoming event open to all ages. It’s a laid-back opportunity to:
-Connect with Kalamazoo’s cycling community
-Check out unique, vintage, and custom bikes
-Enjoy a lively, people-friendly downtown atmosphere
-No registration is required to attend, just show up and enjoy!
**Bikes in the Zoo is completely free, but please note that Mac N Cheese Mayhem is a separate tasting event which requires an admission. You can find more information on their event page.

At the same time, Mac N Cheese Mayhem will be serving up a flavorful experience with mac and cheese tastings from local vendors, making it the perfect pairing for a day downtown.
