May is Bike Month, and May 15 is Anchorage Bike To Work Day. You don't have to be going to work to enjoy this fun event. All are welcome.
Anchorage Park Foundation is hosting a treat station at Campbell Park along the Campbell Creek Trail, and providing free Wild Scoops ice cream to the first 50 cyclists.
There will also be pop tarts!
We will have a petition to sign to support increased federal funding for trails and active transportation in Anchorage.
The Alaska Department of Transportation is still working on a plan to provide a safe crossing at Lake Otis Pkwy on the Campbell Creek Trail. We will share information at the event.
