This ride can be as easy OR as hard as you need it to be. We will do an out and back at your own pace. Usually we end up in pairs depending on ability. Ultimately no one is left alone.This ride is perfect for both new rider or those needing to train for an event.
Park in the carpark on Coronation Road closest to the Onehunga Bridge. We will start at 8am so please arrive with enough time to get ready.
The course will be posted in the discussion. We will start on the cycle way as a warmup before heading out onto some quiet roads.
MANDATORY GEAR
You will need your bike, a decent helmet and a drink bottle.
RECOMMENDED GEAR
A puncture repair kit and a spare tube suitable for YOUR bike. (even if you do not know how to use it yourself)
A phone in case of emergencies.
This will be an out and back along the cycleway. You can ride at your own pace and will regroup as needed or you can ride with any one of the same abilities. We will stay in groups depending on ability, so no one is left alone.
